Join our List Serves!

The Nassau County Psychological Association maintains two list serves that allow for group discussions and timely notification through email. These list serves are hosted through Yahoo Groups for free, however, you must be an NCPA member to participate in the discussions and access the message archives.

Members have found this to be an excellent way to discuss local and broader issues as well as network, socialize and share information. We encourage you to participate: post questions; join discussions; or alert members to information you wish to share such as job opportunities.

NCPA School Psychology Committee list serve

This group allows Long Island School Psychologists to discuss local and broader issues as well as network, socialize and share information. It also acts as a method for the Nassau County Psychological Association to keep school psychologists abreast of meetings, presentations, legislative information, and any other information that may be of interest. NCPA Private Practice Committee list serve

The Private Practice list serve offers the opportunity to connect and communicate with other Long Island psychologists on matters such as:

1. getting answers to, or responding to, practice related questions
2. receive notices of local educational and legislative activities
3. share useful practice information
4. deposit and obtain any useful forms, handouts, etc. in computer files at the web site.
5. discuss current professional topics.
6. post jobs and office rentals
7. make referrals
