Believe it or not, the holiday season is rapidly approaching.  A popular holiday song states, "It's the most wonderful time of the year."  With all of the planning, shopping, cooking, preparing, decorating, and coping with "difficult" family members, some of us may be skeptical of this lyric.  However, we can work to anticipate and manage the stress and other problematic emotions that may be part of the entire holiday package.  Using principles of Rational Emotive & Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (RE&CBT), participants will learn to identify and restructure their maladaptive beliefs and thought patterns that can often be triggered by the stressors of the season.  Participants will also learn behavioral methods for stress management, including relaxation skills and effective planning strategies.  So don't wait until New Years to make your resolutions, start now by minimizing the stress and maximizing the joy of the season by attending this unique and interactive workshop.
