Nassau Psychological Services Institute
The Nassau Psychological Services Institute (NPSI) is the
educational and public service arm of the Nassau County
Psychological Association (NCPA) and of psychology in Nassau
County. It is a tax-exempt, non-profit institute, chartered
by the N.Y. State Education Department, to provide public
education, research and professional training.
Speakers' Bureau
The Nassau Psychological Services Institute provides
speakers to community groups and organizations on topics of
psychological interest. Speakers prepare presentations for
PTA groups, teachers’ meetings, religious organizations, and
public libraries.
Division of Continuing Professional Education
The Division of Continuing Professional Education offers
cutting edge continuing education programs for psychologists
on theoretical and applied topics of relevance to those who
practice in school, clinical, and private settings. It is
authorized by the American Psychological Association to
grant continuing education credit to psychologists and other
professionals who attend and complete programs that are
approved by the Division. The Co-Directors of the Division
welcome proposals from interested speakers who wish to be
considered as presenters and from other organizations that
are seeking CE credit for their programs.
